Kelly-Lynn Chasse (Director)- is a Massachusetts certified history teacher. She has been studying theater since her freshmen year in high school and throughout her college experience. She has directed, written, and choreographed many children's productions as an extra curricular activities drama teacher. She appeared as City Her in PCT's The Gifts of the Magi. She also appeared as Carolyn, Dora, Beth, and Sarah in The Dining Room. She made her PCT directorial debut last fall with The Mousetrap. Kelly is also the teasurer on the PCT Board of Directors.
Jason Read (Set & Lighting Designer)- has appeared on stage in twelve musicals and five dramas, having most recently performed as Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Jason owns and runs the theatrical lighting and sound services company General Entertainment Media. He has worked on countless shows as lighting designer, tech director, sound engineer, and as other roles. He had his directorial debut this summer with PCT's Little Shop of Horrors.
Mary Sylvia Borges- has been in numerous PCT productions including it's premier production of Lovers and Other Strangers. Other PCT shows include Love Letters, Going on a Cruise, The Dining Room, and The Mousetrap. Mary has also performed with Roger Williams University Summer Theater. She is a computer scientist at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport and lives in Matunuck with her husband Kevin, son Matt, and daughter Amanda.
Pamela Castro- is working on her first production with PCT after moving to the area from Arizona. She has previously worked as an extra in different productions, although this is her first role in theater. She is an officer in the US Navy.
Trish Culver- is a nurse in the Navy to stay busy between film and theater gigs. She enjoys singing in Newport Navy Choristers. She is happy to be doing theater after a brief repite.
Nicole Gomes- Nicole is a 17 year old actress in training! She loves being in in theater, especially in PCT, but singing is her first love. She is currently in a group named "Invincible' along with two friends and hopes it will work out. She also loves doing make-up and was head of make-up for Plaza Suite and assistant head in Little Shop of Horrors. If her singing career doesn't come through, you'll find her doing make-up for celebrities and artists worldwide!
Richard D. Schlosky- has performed in several PCT productions. He enjoys working with the PCT family and community players. PS- they are the only ones who will put up with him plus he is the president of Portsmouth Community Theater.
Michael Xavier- this is Mike's second PCT show, having recently played Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors. Favorite roles include Jack in Into the Woods, Feste in Twelve Night, and Sammy in Blood Brothers. Offstage, Mike is employed ass an Assistant District Attorney in Bristol County. Mike received most of his theatrical training at the College of the Holy Cross theater and music department. He also studies voice with Arlene Cyr. Mike would like to thank Kelly Chasse for her artful and patient direction.
